Disability is not a curse!

Since time immemorial, different communities of the world have been viewing persons with disabilities as "cursed" and "sons/daughters of sinners". Which degrades, demeans, offends affronts, irritates and transgresses against persons born with impairment. Even those whom by chance, happen to become blind for instance, may, because of societal crooked mindset and attitude towards persons with disabilities, easily and sheepishly value themselves as " frivolous" and "worthless". Why, dear reader, is it that persons with disabilities are cursed or their parents sinned? Who cursed them and why were they cursed? To whom did their parents sin? And if one man in the ancient days as some superstitious stories argue, may have sinned, were the consequences of his sins meant to affect the innocent once, from his generation to an eon generation?  Beloved reader, are you able to come up with at least one plausible answer to those questions? Let's think out loud about this matter. Because as days, weeks, months, years, decades centuries and millenniums go by, persons with disabilities continue to suffer brutally in the hands of mainstream society because of this Mental belief whose origin cannot be properly traced. The world, particularly Africans, should and must learn, understand and know that, no man plans for his fate or misery in other words. Before a baby is born, it does not say, " I don't want legs or hands," while in it's mother's womb, does it? If it does, then prove it to me by writing an affidavit. When the United nations organisation concentrates on the Global outcry of women against inequality and Domestic Violence, it - the said organisation, should also attend to persons with disabilities and listen to our lamentations for surely we are tired. Do you think the life of persons with disabilities living in this generation (modernism), and those of the old dispensations is palindromic?? If you don't, you don't follow me either
